A Colourful Easter Holiday Treat

Being able to capture the beauty of flowers is always a treat for me, and this time we had a chance to walk around Hamilton Botanic Gardens.
I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of this tired but still magnificent butterfly. The bright sun helped me to get to a very fast shutter speed (1/1600) that results to a sharp and clean image.
Ramping the shutter speed to 1/6400, I managed to get a dramatic image of this flower.
Around the same location, I got more images while playing with different aprture and shutter speed while keeping my ISO at 160.
Before heading home, I was greeted by this tiny but loud creature. Good thing I brought my 200mm lens in my bag!
